Actually the dyno shop recommended a 600 CFM Edlebroch. Of course they
did that on the basis of my engine being ported and polished with large
valves, headers, and a fairly hot cam.
The dyno shop tuned the Edlebroch on the dyno. As far as I am concerned
it was a waste of money. It did run smooth but it never brought the
engine to life. I still use stone age technology for engine diagnostics
and the settings the dyno shop used produced pure white spark plug
tips. I tried tuning the Edlebrock for a richer setting and got no
improvement in performance. The switch to a Holley made an instant
difference.
        Best regards,
        Tom
