As far as I know, the smallest K & N 14" filter is 2 1/4" high. Summit sells a 
low rider with a 2" element which looks like a K & N
knock off.

If the element is much shorter than 2" with a low rider base, it may close the 
top of the carb, depending upon the design of the air
cleaner top.

Remember when figuring hood clearance that the clearance required when slowly 
closing the hood is much less than the clearance required
when the hood is dropped. I have proof.
