Peter,

I agree with Marion.  These pumps work well for a long time but need occasional 
attention.  Don't ignore the warning signs.  Remove the plastic cap and run 
several folded 300 or so grit sandpaper to clean the contacts.  That should 
solve your problem . . . until the next time it happens!
