i wonder if its the state rules or something? we're in texas.

i called all the antique auto insurers because i like to let my 17 year old,
and soon my current 14 year old enjoy my hobby. only hagerty would insure
my cars with my son as a driver, and only with an adult in the passenger
seat. all others refused to insure the car if he was driving, even with an
adult on board.

my son does have his own car now but i do not think he did at the time i
signed up.
