You must be a careful (or lucky) driver! The steel pans on several of my
roadsters had dents. I've got a comp pan but I'm afraid of using it for
long distance drives (300 miles away).

For what it's worth, I've had my comp pan for nearly 20 years now on a
roadster with the comp suspension (i.e. low)... no problems.
