Mike,

Bypass the electric fuel pump with the fuel line also. The mechanical fuel
pump can't suck it through the electric pump.

A 240 I had had a bad electric pump and I thought it was the mechanical pump
so I replaced it. NG. I had to rip out the electric pump.

Mike
