does your crank pulley still have any paint left?  I cleaned up my crank
pulley to the original bluish green and took the pulley to an automotive
paint store and they mixed up a quart for me and sold me a small aerosol
sprayer and I did the whole engine, oilpan and still have half the quart
left.

As best I can tell, there is no color left on the block (it is the
original)and wonder what a very early 1966 1600 block was originally.
