Well, fellow roadsterites, imagine my surprise when I went to Wal-Mart for
supplies and discovered that kiddie pools and water noodles were seasonal
items! I cannot buy kit pieces until next spring. It is with deepest
regret that I must withdraw my ground effects kit from the list of items I
offer for sale. When I find suitable alternative parts to make the kit I
will relist it.
The New Braunfels Mini-Meet is still on for Saturday, September 8th, from
9:00 to 2:00. I will not have the prototype ground effects kit there since
I am not offering it for sale, and I must sell 5000 of them for the FIA to
homologate them and make them street legal. I am currently working on a
cheaper alternative to the power take-off that Andy has on his web page. My
PTO requires an old clothes dryer and a boat winch for the working
mechanism. I will list it when it is fully tested.
