Just to add my 2cents on this car, I got a ride in it last weekend. After
this ride, I can tell ALL 1600 owners that a 5 speed tranny IS the ultimate
performance upgrade for your cars. I thought that the steeper gears in the 5
speed would lessen the R-16 but, It enhances the motor. Start looking for 5
speeds, you'll be happy you did!

Not meaning to nit pick, but this car is a 65 1600. A REALLY early model. I 
will agree that the car is really nice. Very nicely detailed. Everyt time my

girlfriend and I go to CDM, she has to sit in it and dream about owning it. 
If you are looking for a very nice early 1600, this car is a good one.
