I like leaving the stock radio functional as well and installing a stealth unit.

They make an RF controlled unit that can be totally hidden. I haven't used one
of these but
they look decent. Can control a CD changer in the trunk too. Not THAT
expensive either. (Certainly much cheaper than any nice radio stolen and your
top slashed during the
process!)

If someone with a 67.5 is contemplating cutting up their console to install
a later radio, please let me know. I have one that has been cut that would
be a good candidate for this, but I would rather put in the stock AM radio.
