For such a small, lightweight body, you may want to consider a T-50 BW from a 70's Chevy Monza, Nova, small Buick or Olds. Just be sure to get the V-8 version. I have over 100,000 miles on one in an MGB, & if not abused, they are excellent. They also have the advantage of being 25% smaller than a T-5. They require the same Buick/Olds bellhousing, but only the 4-speed V8 version. The 3-speed or V-6 will not fit. Jim Stuart |
