Your pressure sounds fine, and typical - I look for 10 psi per 1000rpm as a 
minimum guideline.

No idea about your drips - give the engine a good cleaning and see what's going 
on! If your spin-on adapter is leaking, there's a really good chance that you 
have two gaskets where there should only be one - it's a common problem.
