I beg to differ.
1.5 miles is nowhere near far enough if you're planing to drive it. I
drive 7 miles to work in my Spitfire 1500 every day and by the time I
get there she's nicely warmed up, so am I, and I'm really not at all
in the mood to go into work. I always want to drive on for another ten
miles at least. On beautiful spring days like this with the top down
going home is just the same...
