0->60 in 69 minutes ... Hmmm.. I wonder where that person got all that high tech
speed equipment. I could use some on my Land Rover's engine ;*)

Actually, if a Land Rover were right hand drive, a TR3 intake manifold and SUs
would fit very nicely with little mounting work. I suspect there would be a HP
and milage boost over the single downdraft Solex. Unfortunatly for those of us
with left hand drive, the steering box and rear carb would try to occupy yhe
same space :^(

Maybe raise the compression from 7:1 or 8:1 to 9.5:1. Put headers & a cam in
the car..

It could break rear axles even faster.

2286cc,
4 cyl
90.47mm bore,
88.8mm stroke,
compression 7:1(8:1),
torque 124lb.f/ft at 2500 RPM
HP@4250 RPM 77(81)
 wet weight 2953/basic 88, 3281lb/88 station wagon, 3301lb/109 basic
  3752 lb/109 station wagon

Max approved payload cross country 88 - Driver + 2 passangers + 1000 pounds
            for a 109 - driver + 2 passangers and 2000 pounds
or for 109 station wagon - 10 persons and 400 pounds baggage

She may not be fast but...
