Well,
I'll be looking at a TR-6 tomorrow morning (4/9) and I've got a
few quick (I hope) questions for ya:
First, here's what I know about the car:
'76 TR-6
85K miles
Body clean
Yellow paint in good shape (no peeling, probably faded some)
engine in excellent shape (his description)
blown tranny (no 1st or 2nd gear)
interior needs work (wood on dash needs work, carpets, seats, etc)
top still keeps rain out, but, will need work soon.
He's asking $700 obo.
So, the big questions are:
- What should I look for on this car?
- Assuming that the above description is accurate, is it a fair price?
I've wanted to get a TR-6 for some time now, but, I wanted a '69 or '70.
If this is a *really* good deal, I'll pick it up.
Also, please respond to me directly in addition to the list since I'm
on the digest version of the list.
