Well, I guess the time has finally come...

For Sale:

1971 M.G. MGB. British Racing Green with Autumn Leaf interior.
New door panels & caps installed; other interior panels included
but need installation. Recent carpet, dash cap as well. Centre-
lock alloy wheels 14 x 5.5" with Yokohama A008RS tires; also comes
with five wire wheels (restorable, no missing/few broken spokes,
old rubber). Sheepskin on driver's seat, original wheel with
Wheelskin leather cover (one-piece).

Engine: 18V bottom end decked, tanked, and fitted with .030" oversize
pistons; Piper Blueprint 285 cam; new 18GB-series rods (offset big-end);
head skimmed to 10.5:1 CR, ported, big valves on 1965 dual-spring head;
distributor Lucas 45D4 (unbreakable base) with 1965 stock advance curve;
new SU HS4 carburetors on flowed manifold; stock exhaust manifold with
port work done to improve flow; ANSA exhaust. Calculated power 122-136
bhp at rear wheels from instrumented test/computer calculation. Comes
with complete 18GK motor for future "numbers-matching" restoration or
for future owner who plans to cave in to the smog nazis.

Suspension: 3/4" Moss front anti-roll bar, V8 bushings in front; all
Nylatron bushings in rear. Have high-performance shock inserts but
not installed, included in price.

Best feature: power, grip, sound, wind in hair. Worst feature: needs
paint, has oil leak in rear tappet cover.

Reason for selling: Owner sick and tired of stupid English cars with
their leaks, flaky electricals, poor performance and uncomfortable
ride; buying new Hyundai Scoupe for reliable, stylish transportation.

Price: $19,999.95.

Availability: Can deliver April 1st, 1994.
