I'd like very much to encourage the participation of merchants in this
forum - they often have information that we'd like, about technical
details as well as what's available as solutions to problems. As long
as the commercials don't overwhelm the contribution, I've got no
problem with TRF, Moss, Vicky Brit, Charlie Rockwell, etc, being active
participants (maybe it would get VB's quality to improve, but I doubt it).

Something I'd like to encourage vendors, especially TRF since I deal
with them so often, is to make their price list available
electronically. I always compose my orders on line, and the most time
consuming part of the task is looking up the prices by hand. If I could
just query some electronic service, I'd much prefer it, even if I had
to pay a pittance for it. In fact, if TRF could see their way clear to
make the information they use to print up the Red Price List available
on a floppy, I'd volunteer the sweat equity to convert it to something
that could be searched with WAIS or World-Wide-Web.
