Hi,
If the organizers for British Invasion III in Stowe, VT do the same job they
have done the last couple of years, you should be in for a good event.
However, I just wanted to pass the following rumor on:
A person that I met up in Nova Scotia last summer ('92) is going to be
caravaning to Stowe with his TR2 (his name is Drew Sperry) and several other
notable lbcs and LBCs. One of the other cars going will be a real special treat
for you Rolls Royce fans, it is a Silver Ghost. Rumor has it that this is one
of
only two in existance! The owner of the Rolls is already getting nervous about
putting the car on the ferry from Dartmouth, N.S. to Portland, ME (for obvious
reasons).
So, for any of you SOLers attending, this should be quite a treat.
Incidentally, I won't be there this year (I have to celebrate my 10th wedding
aniversary in Bermuda), but I would appreciate any reports from the event.
Also,
if in fact a Silver Ghost does show up, I would appreciate seeing a nice
pictures.
