This must depend on the cooler - I installed a 13 row cooler in my 79 Midget
about a year ago and, while it went in easily between the radiator and
grill, did require the drilling of a hole or two. I seem to remember using
two existing holes on one side and drilling one on the other side. I didn't
use the wierd little brackets that it came with - I just set the thing off
with a small stack of washers and bolted it straight in. The mounting must
depend on a number of things, including, but not limited to: cooler size,
bracket type, previous owner modifications, etc. Having said all this, it
was nice to find that there is a ready made place to mount the thing
requiring very minor modifications.

p.s. Nice of them to provide the hole for the heater hose so the oil lines
can be routed easily - heater hose still fits too!
