Midget Brakes

With the talk on TR7 brake upgrades, I recall that if I ever manage to get 
together the $$$ to sling a rotary engine into my Midget, it too will need
better brakes.  I recall someone mentioning on the net not too long ago that
MGB rotors with Spitfire calipers (or the reverse) will fit the fronts; what's
the story?  Also, is there any way to retrofit rear discs at a sane cost?
