A Sinister Idea

Be very careful adding gobs of power to a Spridget.  The stock rear
axles won't take it.  My Mk III Sprite (of (mostly) happy memory) had
a mild street cam and stock carbs, and even so twisted splines off of
rear axle shafts with distressing regularity.  I got so I could swap a
new one in in about three quarters of an hour of sworking.
