I had a plug I couldn't get out. (I must admit I put it there myself. I
now only turn them 1/4 turn after they seat.) Even the *long* socket handle
for the hub nuts couldn't get enough leverage. In desperation I discovered
that my chrome lug nut wrench the type that has 3 sizes and a pry handle
shaped like an X, will work. You get lots of leverage with both hands, but
don't count on not breaking the plug.

Yes Armorall works well. I have used it for lots of things besides the top
of my wife's long gone MGB. The tops of my deck shoes, under my arms in
the morning, we even triied it for mosquito repelant. (the bugs loved it!)
