Hello -

I have a '64 Sprite Mk II with an 1098 engine and a *mechanical* fuel pump.
The books say I don't; I can either have a 948 with a mechanical, or a 1098 with
an SU electric one.

The block # is 10CG-DA-H 12321, with the "10" showing it's a 1098, and the
frame # is HAN7L 33536, a mid-series MkII, which should rule out beginning/end
of a series weirdness. The 1098 is not supposed to even have the hole in the
block for the pump, so it would be *real* difficult to convert :).

What's going on here? Anybody ever run into this??

Thanks in advance,
- Glen
