Oddly enough, when I got home last night and went to top up my front
Spridget shocks (dampers) I found that the fill-hole bolt is this same
size. I have neglected these things since their rebuild last spring,
but I was shocked to find them not working on my way home from the
autocross Sunday. If these things need topping this much, I'd better
find a 1/4-inch Whitworth to avoid damage. They are a bit hard to
reach. Why the heck is the hole on the SIDE of the tank? Do they
need air in there for expansion? Sure makes them hard to fill.
13.5mm is a good size, just .005" over, but I guess there is no such
wrench in existence!
