Have you verified the hydraulic pump is getting power? Perhaps you can
rebuild the pump if you need to get by for minimum expense. Save up for the
air doors. They are well worth the cost.

You can get the emergency brake boot from one of the Bricklin parts vendors.
I don't think it is a part that interchanges with another vehicle.

Before replacing the tachometer, hook a tuneup tach to its leads and verify
that you are getting a good signal.

You fuel gauge problem is probably a bad connection. The sensor will tend to
drop out out a certain level consistently. I had the same symptoms and it was
a loose connector at the back of the gauge. Vibration while driving would
cause it to make and break contact.
