Speaking of Minis, is anyone following the used market for these
things? Is it cooling off at all? It looks like supercharged ones from
2002 with 30k miles are still asking for $22k+ on craigslist. Which is,
I think, over the base sticker price for a new one? Impressive. Any
speculation about when they'll come down to earth? Are there still
waiting lists for new ones? Seems like the New Beetle had completely
cratered by this point in its life span--BMW must be doing a good job
trickling these in? If the they ever get cheap, it'd be a great car for
parking in my neighborhood.
