What a great idea!  But to be fair, we should only calculate the average
based on the same number of participants from each region.  For example, if
only 10 of us make it down to San Diego, their pax times will be averaged
against the top 10 out of 100 from down there.

Maybe we can steal their mascot or something before the event :).  Gluing
the trophy to the top of the motorhome is a good idea too.  If they want the
trophy, they have to take it with all the Northern California bugs on it.
