Well, what could we do to make divisonals more
attractive? There is a whole slew of excellent reasons
not to go and a much shorter list of reasons *to* go.
Possible "improvements" with *limited work impact*
might be:
1) Bay area location
-or a at least a "destination" location like
Monterey/Marina. Mather, at 100 degrees + with no a/c
is not inviting.
2) Pays SFR points to SFR members, non SFR entrants
could be "points invisible."
3) Saturday practice, Sunday real-thing format (the
first few divisionals I ran were like this).
4) More temperate time of year. Especially if it's
Mather.
5) Talk it up.
and I don't know how much work this is over a div...
6) Make it a NT - thus engaging more contingency
money.
