While the subject is autocrossing, not road racing, your point about
classes being more fair in various road racing venues is well taken.
In the world of SCCA politics, the appointed Solo Events Board
takes a very personal view of how things should be. (Hate to use the phrase
"Self-Serving" <G>) (Or stupidity, as it may not really apply.) It's just
that neither you nor I happen to agree with it. Despite that, autocrossing
is the game I'm playing.
And now all of us need to figure out how to communicate with our
exalted SEB which is requesting from the National BoD even more separation
from the election process. Autonomy is the word being bandied about.
