> Do you just take everyone who shows up regardless of total turnout?
No, we require online preregistration and strictly enforce it. However, if
someone shows up and can give me a really, really good
reason why they did not preregister, I'll let them run - the excuse has to be
pretty good though. For this last season, I can count
the number of successful excuses on one hand. Preregistration has been a
resounding success. At our last non-mandatory
preregistration event, we had over 80 walk-ups even though we had been strongly
encouraging drivers to pre-register for over a year!

No, but we do encourage it.

Not had to yet and our largest event was over 230 drivers. The site we use can
maybe handle 250.

We have only 1 indexed novice class. We run the novices in their open class
where they are eligible to win open trophies as well as
novice trophies.

If we run out of time. If we get less than about 180 drivers, we have time for
fun runs. I prioritize giving everyone 4
competition runs rather than saving time during the event so we can have fun
runs afterwards.
