Mike-

Now THERE is a Dixie Region tradition that will be hard to top. Our
long-time RE and Mazda driver (also a d*mn good plumber) Carl Bennett
dresses in a traditional Japanese outfit (well, OK, it's really a silk
bathrobe) and makes the ceremonial "Surprise Attack" first run at 0753, his
RX7 bedecked with WWII Japanese battle flags. He's been mooned,
paint-balled (subsequently, JK outlawed projectile weapons at A/A!), and
both cheered and jeered, but he still makes that famous ride.

Check out http://www.dixiescca.com/avapics.htm for the photo's of Carl the
Samurai. (Not to be confused with the leader of that upstart bunch down in
South Florida!)

But what I want to know is who's going to dress up in the Samurai outfit at
your event, Carl? Hmmm?
