For those of you in GS - look out for the Audi TT. Just saw one run in
Harrisburg. It was absolutely dead stock on street tires. The course was
relatively non-technical with several medium speed sweepers several long
straights into slow 180's. The car was in the hands of an experienced
Auto-Xer (former ProSoloist - don't know his name) who has been out of the
sport for a while. He ran Non-Comp.
He was running 58s.Which I believe was the fastest of all D E F G H stock
classes. I think the winning GS time was 60.xxx. Winning ES time was
58.9xx. On R tires with a little setup this car would have matched the
fastest CSP times. Granted the course favored the TTs flat torque curve
but...
