Jay made some very good points. So we have some major possible side
effects
to unlimited wheel diameter, the original complaint was that tire availability
is different for each diameter. How about a variation of the offset allowance
stating that all stock cars are allowed plus or minus 1" from stock diameter?
That cuts down on the possible beneficial side effects, decreases the number
of possible choices, but still gives a greater selection of tires. Since we
will probably never have control over tire availability, why not try something
to even that playing field.
