Bret, I have no idea about the wheels. I do run FZRs for street use on
my MR2. I really like them. According to Toyo's brochure and web page,
they are "Rad" and possible "the bomb". I think the market for these
tires is a bit younger than me...
I do like them. I consider them a good compromise tire in that they were
not expensive (less than $100 each) so I don't mind scrubbing them on an
off-ramp. They stick well and work very well in water. Pretty much all I
wanted in a street tire. Oh...the tread pattern looks "gnarly". 8)
