Don't know 100% sure, but I imagine it's because "synthetic" is the
current hot buzzword for auto chemicals and legally, just about anything
can be labeled synthetic these days (not much different than the
"organic" label that's stuck on food products that are not remotely
organic). Anyhow, I'd bet that it's the same old LMA that we've always
used, just with an new, improved label on the bottle.
