    Marty:

Replacement pigtais are available from British wiring and, I think,
the big three. No need to solder heat shrink, fuss etc if you do not
wish to do so.

    Cheers,

    Vance

Bob,

I did find the schematic on Dan's site and I do have his book. Both are
definitely a big help. I also found this:
http://www.hkrohm.de/downloads/electricaldiagramtr250.pdf The second
page helped me understand what the "colors" meant. May not be absolutely
correct for some of the newer cars with the seat buzzers and the like.

Update on my problem: I did get the passenger's side high beams working
yesterday. Seem that the headlight wiring is a "pigtail" and connects
into the harness via bullets into snap connectors. When I pulled off the
tape, I found the connection and was able to remove the headlight
pigtail. I found the break in the blue/white wire and fixed it. Voila -
high beams now work! Seem that the DPO cut all of the wires (why I do
not know) to the turn signals, headlights etc. and reonnected them by
twisiting and covering with tape. No solder anywhere. Still have some
additional work to do to clean up his mess.

Love that shipwright disease!

Thanks to all who replied on and off list. This is a great resource!
