Bill,
No expert, but I do have the original filter setup. Was that thingie on the
floor flat/thin? There a thick part, maybe an inch long or so, four rounded
points, that goes on the bolt and in the hole thru the center of the filter.
Seems like the rounded points are on both ends of the part. Did your's break
or something?
This is from memory, so I may be wrong on something.
