On a related topic.. I would like to get my rear light units re-chromed. The chrome has worn thin in a few areas and there is some pitting. I wonder if anyone had done this and if so what degree of disassembly was required for the plater ?. I can strip them down to everything but the metal frame and the two reflectors (one plastic, one apparently metal) but neither of which will come off easily in a non destructive way. Stan |
