Sean---Unfortunately, most, if not all of the original rear windows
would yellow or brown with age. Robbins and I suppose other top
manufacturers came up with a remedy for this in later years. (My -1985
fifteen year old window was still clear when the top rotted at the
stitches)
If your window is only surface fouled, you can try these things in this
order:
Rain-X
BonAmi powder
Zip the window down!

Dear Listers,
I think I have finally figured out how to mail to the list. Please
forgive my earlier attempts.
Simple question for you experienced Triumph Owners... just what exactly
(beyond the recommended soapy water and cloth) do you use to clean the
rear "glass" in the tops of these cars? If there is some chemical that
will clean the top without having an effect on the material and / or
paint, please advise. The top is original and I just want to clean it so
that we can see through it a little better than we can today.
Thanks in dabvance for the guidance..
