Thanks for the reply. I've actually got the kit to completely restore the 76
already except for sending off the headrests to be chromed. I also have some
70 seat frames that are ripe for restoration. It looks like the early model
seats are harder to restore.

Ron:  I wondered about this a few months ago.  I'm really looking forward to
getting a pair of 71 back from the upholsterer for my 73.  They seemed more
comfie.   Others have commented similarly. One fellow on our list added an
extra foam piece inside the seat covering as additional low back support.
Other options I've heard about include seats from junkyard Fiero, Miata or
pricey new English seats from VB.    My worn out 73 seats give back pain on
longer trips.
