Wow. I would really be interested in the clear acrylic. Only question would
be if it would act too much as an insulator trapping heat, and also if
it would really stay all that transparent after getting coated with
oil.
Would probably be interested in the as-cast version as well. (I'm fortunate
enough to have two brothers who work in the plating/coating business. One
is an operations manager for an e-coat/powder-coat company, and the other works
in chrome plating.)
