When you say 'Y', do you mean it is a two into one, and then back to two
tube for its muffles ?
Are the header tubes a 6pack, or two banks of three ?
And now that some one has milled them flat, is there any bond of tube and
flange, on the milled side anymore ?
Do they run down between motor mount, and in front of starter ?
The starter is the key to your fit..............
And the goal for space here is to be as close to the engine as possible.
Take a look at the frame right after the right rear shock, there is a frame
rail that slants upward in front of the gas tank, you should see a
connection point here.
If you are wondering how much time it takes to make a really GOOD system, or
to even try and find some one to make one, I wish you luck.
DON ... 34'' Mandrel bend ... prior to custom collector... and yes there is
a mayor difference in the RESPONSE in the low and mid band.
I do not know what the high band will bring to the table, still undergoing
break in.
