due to a design issue, my car has insufficient rear brake bias (even with the knob to full rear). i cant get the car to rotate at all under braking. i am considering grinding down my front brake pads

I guess you tried putting in a brake proportioning valve between the master cylinder and the front brakes ? I suppose you could install a valve between the front and rear brakes, thus really getting

How is the proportioning valve plumbed? Is it in a rear line or a front line? CHD

its to the rear, which is clearly the wrong end! i read somewhere that its not safe to put a prop valve on a front line for some reason that escapes me right now. actually, i think there are two line

That's what I thought. Do Mustangs normally have a rear lockup problem? Do you still have the OE Mustang proportioning valve under the master cylinder? I'm just curious, because I ended up pulling my

Jaames, you could try different pads in the rear, make them stronger that way then you could get the valve to actually make an adjustment. -Sean braking. and
