Has anyone noticed how much air (oil fumes included) comes out of the 1600 valve cover vent? I noticed that there is a lot coming out of mine, at idle. I know it is hard to discuss this without some

My engine is getting close to time to do an overhaul and it puts out quite a bit of oil vapor also. Howmany miles have you put on your new engine? When an engine is rebuilt the rings don't seal well

My '70 2k has a good bit as well. It had 30k on it when I bought it (29 years ago) and has 60k on it now. I has done this since I owned it. Judging from the number of comments regarding dirty carbs,

My '70 2K also had that stupid line on it. Now there is a little air breather sitting on top my valve cover instead. No more oil dumping into my nice clean carbs and expensive air filter. Hopefully,
