Having a crankcase full of oil is nice, but it won't help you much unless it is circulating in the engine. ;-) If I remember right, it looked like about 25 psi at 5500 rpm. If the reading is correct,

I'd agree. Get a mechanical gauge to check the pressure. Chances are the Roadster gauge is reading low. In my 66 1600, my old oil pressure gauge showed extremely low pressure on my newly re-built eng

Actually, it was reading just over 40 on the gauge. I also noticed that prior to the trip. If I remember, it used to be at around 50 at idle. Calspeed
