Smokey Yunick's rule of thumb was 10psi of oil pressure for every 1000rpm.

Hello,

Thats a good question.  Well, I know I had 7qts of fresh stuff in there and 
it was full when I came home.  Is the gauge suppose to read much higher than 
that?  As for the temperature gauge, my car tends to run very cool.  I have a 
two core radiator installed.  It wasnt that hot outside either.  In the low 
70's.
