Don't think rocker oiling holes relate to a problem with tappets. Something else going on there. There's so much oil splash in the tappet area that other factors are at work--mismatched hardnesses, f

FWIW I agree with Mike Porter, not likely. The (deliberately) meager flow to the rockers is not what lubricates the tappets and camshaft. However, I do agree it's a good thing to occasionally check
