A *little* advice? Here? Not. :-) MGB's hate swimming. You must've scared it real good. It came to its senses. . . . . Check the battery connections. Clean them with sandpaper or a battery post tool

Yeowwzir! This can be very pricey. Fully half of my machine shop bill from the b's rebuild was invested in the cylinder head. I think there are some things to be considered before doing this though.

Actually, they are excellent places to leak since the oil is at 60 PSI. My MGB doesn't have aon that I know of. The only place I've seen thermostats recommended on oil coolers is in the part catalog
