It finally happened. My first Serious electrical gremlin in my
69 MGB GT. The problems is a bad contact in one of Joe Lucas' finest
switches. Unfortunately, I cannot get the exact replacement switch and
had to get the later model. The contact lay-out is the same, but there
are some smooth, round posts on the rear of the switch instead of the
narrow Fast-on blades.

After perusing several car parts outlets, I have been unable to
locate anything that would reasonably work to connect to the switch. I
could probably hack it, but I'd preferr to avoid that.

Are there any sources for British car electrical bits like this?
Neither Moss or TRF list them in their catalogues.

As I stopped at a traffic light the other night, a couple of
guys in an American pickup stop next to me and give me the thumbs up.
I was both suprised and pleased. Little things like that make all tinkering
worthwhile.
