I autocross frequently and I've always wondered what jacking the car up did for torsional rigidity over time. I've always jacked the front up via the front engine mount, and the rear from the metal b

Hi all, Now that it's the off season, I was wondering what sort of parts need to be replaced on a regularly autocrossed 1995 Neon Sport Coupe (non-ACR). I usually run about a dozen events a year. Are

Could it maybe be that the pulley holding the belt is deformed or has a sharp edge? It's definitely not normal to go thru that many if they're good belts and have been installed properly. Gerald

Yep, the Neons have exhaust at the back of the engine as well. The stock intake on Neons are very restrictive since it picks up air from the front of the engine bay, routes it toward the back (where

I have a feeling it has to do with that "How clean do you keep your car" question. Maybe we're all neat freaks or we're just too used to the autocross rules of having no loose objects in the car. :)

Supposedly, the G-Techs are pretty accurate - the 91 mph you get from the G-tech is the speed at the end of the quarter mile. I think that most drag strips clock the 1/4 speed as an average speed ov
